Angela Maher is a self taught artist, having been influenced and inspired by artists who are known for their bold use of colour. For example: Matisse, Bonnard, Wolf Kahn and Brian Rutenberg.
Extensive travels gave her the opportunity to appreciate a broad spectrum of art and architecture.
After working as an interpreter for the European Union, she has now made her home in the Okanagan Valley where she is inspired by the amazing beauty of nature.
Colour, light and movement in her work express the gratitude for the wonderful gift we have been given: Life in such a beautiful world.
