Angela Rose

I have always been interested in painting, even from a young age when I was at nursery and early at school, I remember loving painting sessions and doing collages.

I then developed my own contemporary style and I paint portraits and animals and I exhibited at the Royal Academy of Art Summer Exhibitions on four occasions in 2000, 2007, 2013 and 2014 which I am really proud about.

I did a summer course in drawing, painting and collage with St Martin's school of art and I have been developing my style and I have been interested in the print market.

I have been inspired by David Hockney, Andy Warhol and Claude Monet.

I am inspired by birds and i will always have a bird reference in my paintings, women pop icons such as Blondie, Marilyn and Madonna, animals and travel.

I attended St Martin's School of Art Summer Course and I have a certificate in Humanities with the Open University.

I have also studied French and Italian.

Exhibted at The Royal Academy of Art Summer Exhibitions in 2000, 2007. 2013 and August 2014 and 2017.
