Born and raised in Queens, New York, Angelo Giokas is a young artist whose self-taught practice lives in a state of prolific ambition and potential.

His paintings embody an energetic clash of aesthetic paradigms. Often, collage elements and painterly textures are blended with heavy-handed abstraction and landscape references.
