Anna Dawson

I am a Russian pastel artist, born in Yaroslavl, Russia in 1976, i grew up there and was always fascinated with art from a very young age, but it wasnt until i met my English husband and moved to England in 2004, that i really decided to focus on my art and get up to the level i am now, seascapes are my favourite but i do enjoy doing snow landscapes every so often, it reminds me of home and my younger days, pastels are my forte, i really enjoy drawing with them and i find it so soothing, listening to classical music and drawing where i seem to be in my element, its so relaxing and i try to get the benefit of how i feel and express in my pictures.
