My favourite past time as a child was to sit absolutely still and look out the window. My fascination with 'looking' at things , and particularly people, continues to hold true. My goal is to put things down very simply, in bold colour, trying to balance between restraint and expressive exaggeration. I was born in Greece, graduated from the Ontario College of Art, in Toronto, Canada, and spent my last year off campus in Florence, Italy. Since then, I have lived both in Greece and Canada, and have raised four children. After working as an illustrator, and art teacher, while my children were small, I started showing, and selling my work again in 2007, mostly on line, within the format of a blog, and various other social media. My travels have now brought me to Scotland where my work is informed by the things I see in my daily walks. My work can now be found in private collections in eleven different countries over five continents.
