Anna Price

Anna Price is a Sydney-based Interior Designer turned artist. Growing up in Sydney as the youngest of five, she was constantly drawing and illustrating in a busy, creative household.

In 2019 as a mother of four, she started painting full time out of a desire to pivot away from her screen-based design career and work with her hands again, circling back to the practice that filled her former years.

Price paints intuitively, unscripted and untrained. She draws on her creative intelligence to come up with multiple styles of busy abstract expressionist and geometric style artworks. Her paintings are predominately large scale and involve huge amounts of bold colour. Her inspiration comes from repetition, scale, her surrounding environments and childrens literature.

You will find her most days of the week creating new works at her studio on Smith St in the Sydney Suburb of Chatswood. Her work is also stocked in various shops and galleries across Victoria.
