Anne Kupillas

Anne was born in 1968 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. She primarily works in watercolor and pen and ink, but enjoys various media. Anne's love of art began as a child growing up in a family of artists and musicians on Long Island, NY, who encouraged her creativity. Her artwork is informed by freedom and movement, a love of nature and the human form.

Anne's works have been showcased in group and solo exhibitions in New York and Florida, and she recently finished developing a series of abstract nude studies in pen and ink at Studio 1021 gallery in Long Beach, CA. Anne is a graduate of SUNY Albany with a Bachelor of Arts and studied fine art and art history in NY, London and CA. She loves to travel and finds local inspiration wherever she is.
