ABOUT
EDUCATION

A traditionally trained graphic designer has been running his independent design practice, OneAnother, in London since 2002. Clients include environmental and social justice campaigns, social enterprises, state schools and a football club. Paul also gives quite rude but quite fun talks and runs workshops mainly about communication design, ethics and how to change the world using colours, fonts and ideas - to undergraduate students at several well-known Universities in the UK.

Paul hates Bic pens. He also intensely dislikes all things right-wing. That includes right wing art collectors.

He likes schadenfreude, the word 'dint', detroit techno and disco, dancing, walks with his dog martha, the smell of ink on paper, the funny feeling when one has when one imagines a design. And the smell of ferns, especially ferns, when one rubs the leaves to a pulp.

1984-1989: Catholic (un)Comprehensive in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, UK.

1989-1991: BTEC in Graphic Design, Ware College, Ware, Hertfordshire, UK. Attained grade of 148 from potential score of 150.

1991-1994: BA Honours in Media and Design, specialising in Visual Communication, Portsmouth University, Portsmouth, Hampshire, UK. Grade 2.1
