Antonella Natalis

I'm Antonella Natalis and i'm creator of a web the dedicated to lovers of sea painting.

As a teen I started being fascinated (this passion still thrives me) by great artists of seascapes, so I intently watched and studied their charming representations.
For several years I have been trying to give concreteness to my own vision of art and tried to transfer my emotions onto canvas, using colors, shades and textures, enchanted atmospheres, either dreamt, conceived by my imagination or coming as a reminiscence of some remote memories.
Through my paintings I explore different techniques and feelings, shifting from the shiny “classical” nuances in my palette to the more intense, shady and intimate but never gloomy, nocturnal landscapes.
Over the years, I extended my production adding to oil-painted canvas, some of which are huge, also watercolors, mixed with inks and polishes, where this time my subjects are abstract seabeds.

In 2015, selected for the Exhibition / Competition EXPOARTEITALIANA among 450 emerging artists from all over Italy. The work “cultivate our sea”, chosen by Professor Vittorio Sgarbi and the Artistic Director Giovanni Lettini, along with the other 99 representative works of the theme of EXPO2015, which will be exhibited at Villa Bagatti Valsecchi, Varedo (MB) up to the end of 2015.
