Arran Rahimian

My practice is conducted spontaneously and intuitively through walking. I consider the outside environment to be an important ingredient which features in many of my works. I am continually inspired and intrigued by objects and materials that catch my eye because of their movement or presence in a site.

I see the outdoors as an extension to my studio. I am then interested in how objects visually change over time in both surface and form, depending on the site they are placed in - whether it be through painting or sculpture.
