Black Hair

2018, I began developing images that explore masculinity, femininity, androgyny, Western Beauty standards, and global style. Work, including MIDDLE CHILD (2020), The New Mona Lisa (2019), and Melanocytes (2018), have been exhibited at galleries in Detroit (Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, Norwest Gallery of Art, Playground, and Hard Gallery, respectively). MIDDLE CHILD now belongs in the Whitaker Collection Detroit (Prints are unavailable).
