Black & Worn

The Black & Worn collection includes works in black and white showing the wear of certain elements in their environment. These works are all long exposures, giving way to the movement of nature which contributes to their wear. In an era where consumption takes precedence and where we replace rather than repair, this collection shows the beauty of worn, eroded elements which have faced the elements for tens, hundreds, or thousands of years, and which nevertheless radiate of a certain beauty. Although this collection highlights landscapes, the message it sends is just as human. How many people have been worn out by life, but hold on and never give up.
