Discarded Moment

The images in this collection show an intimate snapshot of someone's life which has been defaced, disfigured and discarded. Crumpled up and thrown away. Why have they done this? We don’t know why and we don’t know the person, but it shows the bittersweet highs and lows of someone else’s life. As a passerby we can only guess at what the story is, but somehow we’ve been left with this small visual trace which is full of meaning. All images are archival Giclee prints on archival matte paper with pastel and crayon. Framed, mounted with anti-reflective and anti-UV glazing. Each image is unique as the pastel / crayon is specific to the work.
