Fragments 2009 - 2011

Fragments is an ongoing and site specific collaboration which utilises the various skills and disciplines between Jairo Zaldua and Nicola Green (experimental printmakers) and Katsura Isobe (dance artist). Fragments has been developing since 2008. It has been presented on several occasions at galleries, studios, a residential house and an East London basement bar. The inspiration and foundations for this project derive from the short story Diary of a Madman by Nikolai Gogol, a short story that explores the decline of an individual’s mental health to represent the collective decline of a nation.
