Identity

Who are we, and who are we in the eyes of others? To illustrate this, as well as the dematerialization of human relationships, I chose to make portraits by taking inspiration from police files where the individual stands straight, in the center of the image, his gaze fixing the objective and holding a panel identifying it by a symbol, words, or a simple number taking the form of a bar code. The sign is not always present but the words yes, while playing with pretenses with humor. In this Identity series, I rebel in particular against the will of our societies to enclose the individual in a codified and predetermined box.
