In Pointillism style

This collection features artworks in the Pointillism style. You can see how rich, multi-colored paint strokes create a special vibration in a painting. Such painting looks more impressive at some distance. Strokes produce a pleasant vibration, texture and a special play of light. The style was taken from the pointillist artists from the end of 19th century and was slightly adopted to my inner feeling of painting. The themes of the paintings themselves are different: still life and various landscapes from different parts of Riga and Latvia. The general mood of artworks is more joyful. It conveys admiration for natural beauty. Somewhere especially emphasizing the charms of nature and creating an unusual feeling of natural reality.
