From Japanese : remnants, traces, vestiges, the sorrow of parting.. Nagori actually refers poetically to the traces left on the sand by the receding waves. When a meaningful relationship ends, when your never-disputed beliefs are made obsolete, when you wake up with a new now to grasp, a past to mourn and a future to reinvent, you are left to make sense of the void left behind. You realize that Absence has a particular weight, it takes shape and density inside of you, it blanches the world around you, brings a seemingly hyper awareness and distorts what surrounds you to correlate your emotions. Absence carries an unmistakable gravity that prevents oblivion. A serie about loss, pain, absence, what is left behind.
