This series of studies are part of a selection of portraits over the last few years of UK political figures. It examines the cyclical process between people ‘in power’ and ‘in opposition’ and tries to look at the person with compassion. These were the key players who in 2011 had the most influence on government, the nation and ultimately the levers of power. I view this selection of politicians as a group, as I consider them inextricably connected to each other and present at face value, alternative sides of the same coin.
