Rocks and Minerals

Daniel Smith's Primatek watercolor paints lend themselves nicely for painting rocks and minerals. I started this series because I wanted to showcase, not only their Primatek paints, but also the rocks and minerals themselves. I like to paint them close up so you can see the details that they have. As a child, I was fascinated by rocks. I used to run them under water and see the different colors and variations. I painted them to make rock people, and I collected them/. Please revisit this series often as I will be adding more paintings to it
