To whom do the cartographies belong?

Maps are consequences of abstract concepts and power plays. They change with time, as power changes. They may seem arbitrary to the people inhabiting the land, bur that doesn't stop this same people to eventualy bleed because of those maps. The shapes in the Cartographies series make me think of maps and such dynamics.
