ANCIENT ALCHEMY

Ancient Alchemy elucidates the symbolic origins of Medieval Subculture. The alchemists were mystics, artisans, and sectarians adopting apocalyptic visions of the underground. The artist incorporates a range of imagery and symbolic icons combined with ciphers, noble metals, and the four elements to create a powerful new take on Ancient Alchemy. Each artwork began as a hand-painted acrylic painting on canvas, scraped, scratched, and etched with metallic inks. The physical art is combined with digital compositions that fuse texture with ancient iconography that conjure the transmutation of the elements. The work is available as prints and an NFT collection. This collection is a work in progress, and it will be updated frequently.
