This collection is made up of a series of photographs taken in and around Ankor Thom in Cambodia. Ankor Thom had fascinated me for many years and I wanted to produce a series of images that looked ancient to match the history of the temple itself. A very high speed, black and white film was used to increase the contrast in the pictures, emphasising the available light and the depth of the shadows. The photos have been printed on a heavy weight Hahnmuhle photo rag paper, which lends a texture and a painting like quality to them.
