CHANTS DE TERRE PRINTS

Here I present an image version of my painting and drawing work. Borrowing from the aesthetics of screen printing and taking the form of a digital print. All my original works are presented in Atelier 431 in St Guilhem le désert. Hérault, France. More serious reflection leads me to question whether, and to what extent, the components and images I combine are my 'subjects' or 'models'. If the word model carries in its meaning something of the order, the example, the archetype, I feel destabilised, led towards a cliché, towards an iconography without dynamics or a critical spirit. I like to think that I feel all this from a safe distance. I like to think that my choices and my series give access to a particular world.
