Christological Evasion

"The starting-point of this collection is an evangelic ideal; It is not actually to be found in the classical iconography, which usually gives sacredness to pictorical and sculptural reproductions, but rather in the word itself: People's idea of God encloses him in an energy which shines from within. So, if God is the energy which lights me up and if what is inside of me makes me who I am, consequently I am God. Every God (i.e., everyone of us) has ironic and discrespectful facets and ideals which are shown off in the daily life. In my collection all these features are remarked by fixed lights and shades and all the bright colors and lines have been used in order to underline the cardinal point of the work."
