Coordinates

Anyone who knows me knows that I love to travel and explore. I am drawn to places with layers of history and rich culture. As I go from place to place each one leaves an intangible essence with me in addition to snapshot memories. This series continues to explore what I have been capturing with the Nagori collection, using actual and symbolic relics but revisiting the horizons from past series, such as Passages and Impressions. While there is still heavy abstraction, this collection integrates more literal and geometric architectural shapes and forms. Found objects including wood, burlap, and metal are incorporated.
