Decollage and Painting

My series of works entitled "Decollage and Painting" represents an alchemical process that develops through creation, destruction and reconstruction. I use the paper collage on canvas as a base and then I make a decollage it using palette knives or sandpaper. Finally, I add pictorial details that enrich the works. During the creative process, shapes and figures emerge organically, without any premeditation or programming on my part. I am just a spectator of this artistic process. In this series, I wanted to explore my personal journey and artistic expression through an alchemical research of the creative process.
