Déplissage

Déplissage, to unfold, began as a response to a story about my father…a story that I believed captured aspects of his persona. The back of the seated figure and the unfolding of the napkin initially served as the story’s key elements. Like other series this is about working through an idea and telling a story until I reach closure and the image has been exhausted.
