Disappearing Act

Disappearing Act is my attempt to interpret the ephemeral record of a life as captured in portraits I found in a discarded family album I bought at a garage sale. The album dates back to the late 1800s with the originals portraits Daguerre type and Collodion processed. With this series, I wanted to reinterpret these old images and give them new life.
