excavating solid courage

EXCAVATING SOLID COURAGE: The point of departure for this body of work is about delving deeper into the depths of understanding and excavating inner resources. I followed this process in four stages: writing a poem and creating a dance about it. Dancing the poem, while wrapped up in gauze on the canvas that I intended to make an artwork on, using photos of the dance and integrating them into the artwork on paper and canvas.
