FACETIME

FACETIME: the peculiar Abstract Figurative and Portraiture of an artisan’s mark. The show explores in color and form and themes of manipulated identity. In our contemporary world of selfies and social media I believe that we have become personas of conflict. Viewed through filters and lacking a since of truth, simply clones and reproductions of a google search. This sense of duality, one of which permanents the image surface and the other which is revealed threw its underlining marks, voids us of self. Thus blurring the lines between likeness and the essence of the being- only to exist in someone's mind rather than the external world.
