Inspired by the abundant precious gemstones that can be found in my home-country Sri Lanka, I created these six wall-sculptures. Each of the shapes were created by cutting, folding, and molding the finest Arches watercolor paper, then painting with the finest Winsor Newton Gouache paint. The levitating interlocking arabesque shapes in the middle are the focus of each piece. Each of the levitating sculptures are mounted on a black canvas, and then framed into a black floater frame. Framed Dimensions: 15"x15"x2".
