Genesis of a Philosophical Concept

“Genesis of a Philosophical Concept” are leafs out of the portfolio “A Memory Sculpture – The Genesis of a Philosophical Concept” (2020). It is located at the interface between Philosophy, Psychology, and the Fine Arts. More generally “Memory Sculptures” are performative compositions which translate psychic processes into direct physical actions on paper. Based on a symbol-language the displayed drawings act as thinking tools to design an internal architecture of sculptural memory. The works are signed on the reverse and provided with a work stamp as well as an artist stamp with information about the materials, year of creation, title, size etc.
