Ghost Suite

Ghost suite is a series of work that talks about the anonymity and the "disappearance" of women in the photos of the erotic magazines of the 60s and 70s of the 20th century. With this work I want to reflect on the contradictory invisibility of these women: their image was reproduced until exhaustion but we hardly know anything about almost none of them. The series talks about the survival of the image through time and a series of processes I apply to the image which acquires a new character in its survival. The process consists in a scan of the photo printed on zink paper, then I damage the photo with chemical agents, it is scanned again, digitally treated, printed in long lasting inks and then intervened with acrylics.
