Hidden Landscapes

What happens when humans manage and change natural areas over long periods of time? And what happens when man leaves this space again? The pictures of the series "Hidden Landscapes" are part of a long-term project on the topic of nature patterns. They are created in extinct volcanoes, abandoned quarries and protected nature reserves that are not influenced by humans - sometimes in dense fog or at night. The aim is to make visible the high diversity that develops within a short time. The pictures in these series are created from numerous individual perspectives of a place, which are connected to each other and show new growth.
