Hat & Pera: Installation, 35 hats, mixed technique on hats.Taksim is an old and big neighborhood of Istanbul in Turkey . ''Pera '' is the old name of Taksim. Pera has changed dramatically in the last 80 years. Because of their kindness, people living in Istanbul used to wear their hats on their way to Pera in old times. They would go there in their most elegant clothes. For this reason, she thinks the hat is a symbol of "kindness and respect" for the people of old Istanbul.
