Kaleidoscope of living

The idea for this photographic series came from a small kaleidoscopic lens, an object which in its simplicity offers unexpected ways of looking at the world. Further sources of inspiration were reading the book "Invisible Cities" by Italo Calvino and some essays on living in the modern city. Seen through that small lens and filtered by the imagery of the readings mentioned, the city breaks down and reassembles itself. Modern architecture are transformed into universes that are closed in on themselves or projected towards utopian or dystopian times...
