Karl Lagerfeld The inspiration behind this art piece was Karl Lagerfeld's intuition and appreciation for the past, present and the future. I wanted to capture Karl's progressive nature alongside his adoration for tradition. A pioneer of 20th Century fashion, who preferred using hand written letters! When we understand a person's life context, we better appreciate and understand the images that represent them. I chose digital media to represent the futuristic nature of the traditional subject.
