After the Chernobyl tragedy, I developed many illnesses, including an allergy to the components of oil painting. With such a diagnosis, it is impossible to study the Art Academy, because an oil painting course is compulsory. And for many years I lived with the thought that my career as an artist ended in childhood. I tried to build a new life, somehow fit into reality ... But the nature of the artist prevailed: once I picked up colored pencils ... This was the beginning of my rebirth. Later I learned about acrylic paints that don't smell. So I got my life back as an artist.
