Main Street-Color

The Main Street series explores issues dealing with human connection. In this case, I wanted to study this common surface structure that we exploit daily and which connects us all. Within a short time of starting this series, I discovered that I was not looking at a relatively homogenous gray surface as I suspected. Small jewel-like stones could be seen, often hidden by road grime and film, while other surfaces might seem gray as I drove over them but were a rich palette of color when examined closely.
