Marie Sarté

Marie Sarté creates and lives in Cracow. Marie paints inspiration from personal recollection and nature – forests, mountains, and her greatest love, the sea. Her main technique is acrylic on canvas. Her work is highly emotional and fairytale-like. The artist wants it to absorb and drive reflection into how much is missing in the modern world. She says "We are not separated islands" confirming how important co-creativity is as well as empathy and respect for each creature in this world. This collecion is called "Remants of civilization" and each painting is left to people's own interpretation. In this series Marie plays with different colors and structures in dynamic and various backgrounds of characters.
