Nature reveals herself in the majestic tapestry of plant life, creatures, storms, snow drifts, caves, dunes, fjords and wide expansive landscapes. She is etched in the fabric of moss, lichen, fungi, leaves and mildew. For decades now, Shoko Lee has embarked on sketching excursions to draw a funny looking tree in some remote part of the city which has still managed to avoid complete urbanisation.
