It is difficult to explain what one feels walking through New York City. Half my life I thought it must be awful, only concrete and steel, no nature. Little did I know how wrong I was. This city is pure life on so many levels. Be it animals and plants, adapted perfectly to the urban jungle, humans buzzing around 24/7, or even the life of centuries past that pulsates through every inch of NYC. What I've learned here: Even harsh corners and right angles can breathe.
