OCEANS POLYPTICH

These paintings are part of the Ocean series that I have been working on for several years, in which, by the use of only one shape, a Mother Shape, and infinite variety of images can be created. For me is as if I and working at the frontier where form comes out of the void creating life. In this series of paintings on wood a new approach is used. Mainly that the same shape that builds the paintings is the shape of the canvas. Shapes whiting shapes. And these shapes, the paintings, also interact with other forming new compositions. Each one of these paintings is considered to be independent and autonomous yet they can also be organized in groups of several paintings
