"Chronicles of circular time"

This series of pictures has a plot line that can be followed as a dialogue in an open book: darkness and desolation; waiting and hopelessness; the need and resignation. In these paintings the characters and the environments play a fundamental role: they meet but they are not there. They are close but far away, thousands of kilometers away, because the opposites game between the real and the metaphysical, between the tangible world and the darkness of the other, the unknown, is the central axis that runs through the entire work.
