Horizons

Horizon reflects the space of the artist and the outer space; the visible boundary between thought and nature, much like the earth and the sky. So, these works made on recycled linen - old curtains from a theatre - were given a new life by the artist Tim Madeira. These dischargeable material, no longer useful to its original purpose, regained a new horizon; an opportunity to become a surface (earth) where the act of aesthetic experiences intertwine – patterns, geometry, stains, dashes, brush strokes, collages, black and white contrasts, expressive and curvy organic forms, textures, bring that sense of rebirth; a notion that all artists have: to be regenerators of new ideas, new realities and dimensions.
