Old cities

I really love old towns. Their cozy narrow streets, tiled roofs, small shops. I love history and the imprint of time on the walls of houses. In this paintings, I worked with acrylic in a complex multi-layered technique to show as much as possible all the verbosity of the old architecture. It seems that this is an old, worn-out woodwork. And it is not usually for me to use pastel colors but in this collection I tried to express soothing atmosphere and to underline natural materials of the past.
