Altered Timelines

Process-based paintings: This series is made by randomly folding raw canvas, then painting the exposed canvas with black household paint. The canvas is then unfolded and hung to dry. Next, the canvas is secured to a stretcher bars and the remaining raw canvas is painted in various colors of household paint. Next, black acrylic marker lines are applied to the painting.
