Immersion

After the series of small formats "Migration" which was executed on the motif, I decided to take up this subject in larger format, but this time, without having my subject in front of me. This new series is therefore a mental work because these works come directly from my mind, my memories. Today, the sea is gradually emerging as my main, even unique subject. I now draw from it all that I have always sought and which touches me deeply in painting; The shade, the rhythm, the subtle, the light, the simple and the impermanence of the Real, the life brought back to the Elemental, the Essential. ​ ​
