Pure feeling and thoughts

A new body of work by Swiss Artist Oliver Schibli. The new series entitled `Pure Feelings and thoughts` underline Schibli‘s significance as a protagonist in the field of contemporary abstract painting. Informed by a total freedom of movement ‚Pure Feelings and thoughts‘ presents Schibli‘s most recent exploration of the potential to free painterly practise from the control of conscious. As Schibli states, in allowing the „unconscious to move the brush and the tube“, the paintings become a reflection of his psychological status. Schibli presents us with captured moments of his creative impulse and instantaneity. Schibli‘s work has been exhibited in Switzerland, Dubai and various locations in Asia.
