Passage Series

During the pandemic, I found myself contemplating the passing of time and how it affects our outlook on life. Design and architecture changes over time, but we don't notice it as we are in our contemporary life. As I watched remastered and colorized videos of downtown scenes of LA in the 20's, 30's and 40's I realized how much the city has changed. That inspired my series "Passage" which brought the awareness of those layers that stack up over the decades.
